Thiagarajar College of Engineering is a government-aided autonomous institution affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. This institution is 61-year-old and is located in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. It is near the Mattuthavani bus stand which takes hardly 18 minutes to reach the college.TCE is funded by the Central & State Governments and Management.
TCE secured 56th rank in India by NIRF in 2019. The college is accredited by NAAC and the courses offered in the institute are approved by AICTE and by NBA, New Delhi.
Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai offers 8 Undergraduate courses and 13 Postgraduate courses and Doctoral programs in Engineering, Science and Architecture. The institute offers various specializations under these courses. For TCE Madurai UG Admission like B.E./B.Tech and B.Arch, eligible candidates should have a good academic record as the selection is purely merit-based. For admission in TCE PG courses like M.E and MCA, candidates should have a bachelor's degree in respective engineering and technology courses from a recognized University or Institute. In addition, for the TCE Ph.D. program, the candidate should have completed UG Courses under 10+2+3 pattern and must have secured a valid rank in the entrance exam conducted by the competent authority.
